A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in the painting department, the artist discovered the technique of fresco early in her career, an experience that profoundly shaped her artistic approach. This practice initiated an ongoing exploration of materiality, surfaces, and the traces of time. Weathered walls, marked by the passage of time, became a lasting source of inspiration and a guiding thread throughout her work.
Her works are created using natural pigments, paper, and a variety of textures. She develops an experimental process in which accident and unpredictability play an essential role. Irregularities and marks thus become integral elements of the pictorial language.
Although fresco remains a foundational reference, she now works primarily on canvas. Yet the wall continues to exist as a conceptual presence: the surface is treated in such a way as to soften the canvas texture, allowing the work to engage more naturally with the architectural space that receives it.
Her palette, often composed of earthy tones and deep blues, evokes the elements, the horizon, and the sea. Signs and symbols also appear within her compositions, offering an open visual language through which viewers may project their own interpretations.
